We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with exceptional skills and expertise to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial accounts and systems. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA Part I or II (currently attending), and possess extensive knowledge of banking services. Strong communication skills are essential as the role involves regular interaction with third-party service providers. Preferably, the candidate will also have knowledge of tax regulations and audit procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  2. Offer improvements to the financial system within the company, including the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  3. Audit weekly reports and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  4. Communicate effectively with third-party service providers, such as banks and financial institutions, to facilitate transactions and resolve issues.
  5. Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data to create insights and reports for management decision-making.
  6. Prepare and settle accounts with partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
  7. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  8. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. ACCA Part I or II qualification (currently attending).
  3. Extensive knowledge of banking services and financial operations.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Knowledge of tax regulations and audit procedures is preferred.
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
