Job Summary: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of accounting professionals, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, and providing financial analysis and reporting to clients. This position will report directly to the firm’s partners and will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience in managing teams, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentoring as needed

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements

• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for clients

• Assist in tax planning and compliance, ensuring clients are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with MFRS and other regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide financial advice and support business decisions

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA or equivalent certification preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

• Strong understanding of MFRS and other regulatory requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
