. Understand the project design, client requirements, quality, standards to implement the execution of utilities and infrastructure project.
· Capacity to prepare and review detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for Road & Drain Construction works.
· Assist PE/CM on preparation of project plans, proposal and to meet the intent of the project plans & specifications.
· Prepares site status & progress reports, and keeps an accurate record
· Prepare, review & comment on design tender drawings, shop drawings, method of statement, material list, purchasing technical specification, testing, etc.
· Review material specification to ensure that quality requirement has been correctly conduct as per contract & design requirement.
· Provide engineering support to other divisions, departments, and external agencies.
· Prepare preliminary engineering design cost estimates and other information for management and project review.
· Participate regular site walk, observe & notice to main contractor for workmanship, installation method, defects, safety, procurement, etc.
· Perform related work as assigned, preparation for documents of site works, review construction in progress, submit reports, utilize a variety of engineering programs and applications including AutoCAD.
· Strong understanding of construction procedures, schedule, means and methods for Road & Drain Construction and be knowledge Utilities & Infrastructure Works such as HV & MV Electrical System, WTP, STP, Water & Sewage Piping, Pump & Control, etc.
· Manage and track document all phases of construction projects, from the planning and layout designs through to final handover.
· Ensure that all as-built drawings from main contractor supporting each project are received and organized in an efficient manner.
· Conduct and review of Contractor Testing procedure, QA/QC, etc.
· Conduct handing over inspection & record handover defect.
· Participate in closing out documents.
