Job Description

• Design the risk management process for the organization in identifying the possible risks and calculating an impact and ways to mitigate the specific risks.
• Ensure an efficient credit approval process by providing all necessary information for the decision making in credit and ensure a close follow up on approved credit decisions
• Participate in credit deal structuring and negotiation with clients when required
• Conduct the credit due diligence on each sales channel’s customers and provide recommendations and comments. Provide the credit risk mitigation technique to avoid, reduce and control such credit risks
• Extensive experience providing oversight over and exercising risk management judgment in line with relevant risk appetite thresholds and risk policies
• Train sales managers on understanding the possible risks and possible ways to manage the risk
• Ability to drive financial outcomes through proactively optimizing risk-reward and minimaxing productivity
• Prepare reports and provide risk control strategies to senior management

Job Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree holder in  Banking and Finance or a relevant field or professional qualification (MBA is preferable)
• Must have+ 8 years of experience in banking and related fields.
• Excellent knowledge and interest in Commodity Trade finance products.
• A good understanding of legal aspects of trade finance instruments would be a plus.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
• A reliable, committed, and highly motivated team player that drives projects and tasks independently.
• Must have experience in Cross-Border and Cross-Trade transactions globally.
