Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

Review and take off bill of quantities that are concerned with 33KV & 11KV Indoor and Outdoor Substation, overhead & underground cable laying, Unit Type Substation Panel, Transformer and related accessories & Switchgear Control Panels etc.
Liaise with client, Site Engineers and Specialists Contractors about clarification of tender requirements by tele-conversion or personal meetings, when necessary.
Precise and detail calculations shall be applied
Prepare tender documentation and call for Sub-contractor tenderers
Evaluate and check all fee proposals by Sub-contractor tenderers and make a comparison
Control and distribution of quantities take off after calculation
On site visits to potential construction sites and taking measurements, records data and estimates the quantity of materials needed when required
Coordinate with internal Engineering team, Purchasing team for more actuate BQ and comparative installation charges or service charges
Capable of integrating all drawings , familiar with the plan , procurement operations and understand the process
Produce shop drawings, details drawings, sketches, etc., with the help of AutoCAD, free hand if required
Assist and prepare documents and technical submission (hard copies/ soft copies) such as GTP, catalogues, switch room layout drawings, substation layout drawing, proposal SLD etc. for with 33KV & 11KV projects.
Checked the revised drawings and amended comments from clients and responsible to revise quotations and related materials submission, if required.
Duties as per above captioned position and any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Ensuring that the company’s best interests are represented, including profitability and cost control
Proactively finds effective solutions to problems, not just to report said problems to management

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Electrical Power
A minimum of 3-5 years experiences in similar role
Effective English speaking and writing skill, Reporting skill
Advance knowledge of High Voltage & Medium Voltage in Electrical Drawings/Design Substation and Transmission Line (Voltage level up to 33 kV)
Ability to multi-task, knowledge of Government and Residential Tender Process and procedure
