Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Overall responsibility (Job summary):

           Trasury Financial Management

           Planning and Reporting

  1.  Review weekly working capital management, monthly reports of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables for all business units of   each entity under Yoma Land.
  2.  Produce short term (3-12 months), medium term (up to 12 years) and long term (2-5years) cash Forecast, that support the annual       budget, quarterly and monthly forecast.
  3.  Ensure value-creating assets are safeguarded and well-maintained.
  4. Inform management about each entity’s cashflow and business operations viability.
  5. Ensure sufficient cash to fund operational needs.
  6. Lead process in analytical procedures of key items of collection and payables per P & L, Balance sheets, non-financial information of Yoma Land.

       Managing Cashflow at Risk

  1. To mitigate liquidity risk, monitor interest rates / exchange rates by creating rsik management strategies.
  2. Anticipate interest rate risks; monitor bank loans / capital management (CAPEX + Open).
  3. Anticipate exchange rate risks; for foreign exchange exposure for onshore  / offshore accounts and cashflow.
  4. Manage current investments (ongoing and new projects in pipeline) and matching anticipated returns with current / actual cashflows.
  5. Create and maintain relations with banks.
  6. Prepare better fee structure on current / future loans with banks.
  7. Meeting bank representatives to discuss company’s financial health, bank’s fee structure and any possible forthcoming changes to the debt granted by bank.
  8. Explore possible opportunities for hedges (Foreign currency transactions )  other possible collaborations.
  9. Maintain relationships with current / potential investors for fund raising purposes.
  10. Constantly monitor market conditions ( a resource for management regarding availability for debt or equity / cost of debt / possible JV, M & A.

       Statutory Requirement

  1. Lead the Statutory requirement process for compliance with tax, audit, legal.
  2. Manage and liaise with external auditors, IRD, and etc ;, for all statutory compliance requirement.
  3. Ensure that contracts are obtained for tax and legal clearance before execution.
  4. Work and Manage the rest of other Finance teams, to ensure compliance is fully taken care of

         Finance Transformation

  1. Prticipate in finance transformation at the company.
  2. Assist and prepare relevant Policies, Procedures, Guidelines/ Standard Operation Procedures for Finance of Yoma Land.
  3. Supprt Finance Director and Head of Yoma Land’s initiatives.

Teamwork and Leadership

  1. Train and manage the Finance team, build rapport and team spirit.
  2. Raise the quality of current work together with team.
  3. Any other and ad-hoc matters.

Key areas of responsibility (in conjunction with and direction from the project manager):

  1. Lead Cashflow Management and Planning.
  2. Ensure financial analysis and commentary write-up on between actual and forecasted data.
  3. Forecast funding needs for immediate month, short-term and long term, in terms of monetary and contingency plans.
  4. Manage cashflow at risk.
  5. Lead the Statutory requirement process for compliance with tax Local, Audit, Legal.
  6. Assist Finance Director in finance transformation process, in preparation relevant Policies.Procedures, Guidelines (Standard Operation Procedures) in Accounting Manaual, and in building of Budget Framework.
  7. Participate and Contribute to new processes in finance transformation.
  8. Participate in capacity building of Finance teams and
  9. Any other ad-hoc reporting.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, with minium 3 years in managerial position,
  2. Bachelor’s degree or Professional qualification relating to Accounting, or Finance, or Commerce,
  3. Matured and independent and strategic thinking.
  4. Applied knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards,
  5. Analytical skills on financial numbers, financial modelling, sensitive analysis.
  6. Experienced in managing the funds of the company , Cashflow forecast, Managing fixed assets/ value-creating assets.
  7. Hands-on work experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint, teams),
  8. Experience of liaison work with colleagues from Business teams, Auditors, and Regulatory Authorities, and Compliance team,
  9. Team-player,
  10. Preferably bilingual with English and Myanmar.
