To supervise supervisors, section leaders and housekeeping staff to achieve the departmental target.
To keep and report the apartments to the best possible standard.
Act in a pleasant, cheerful and courteous way and alert at all times.
Follow the telephone courtesy.
Has a good understanding of people, genuine interest in housekeeping service and thorough knowledge of guest facilities.
Has a solid understanding of the different operations of the department as well as interdepartmental communication with Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Front Desk.
To assist Housekeeping Manager in leading the housekeeping team.
To take disciplinary action to staff’s misconduct behavior.
To be responsible for supervising the turndown attendants, conducting monthly inventories, and assisting the Housekeeping Manager with additional projects for the betterment of the property.
To be responsible for coordination and monitoring the activities of Housekeeping Department.
To develop training program and train the staff to be multi-skilled.
To prepare duty roaster, attendance records, leave balance.
To train employees effectively and recognize the need for coaching and counseling and do orientation to new staff.
To make quick decisions and posses good judgment.
To assist guests with any challenges to create a positive and memorable experience.
To ensure that all guest rooms and guest areas are clean according to preferred standards, and supervise the daily tasks of the housekeepers/ house person.
To report all safety hazards and suspicious activities to Manager or Asst. Manager.
To know and understand all safety procedures and expectations as well as know their role in an emergency event.
To perform the other duties assigned by Management.
To liaison with Tenant/ Guest to fulfill their requirement.
To liaison with Various Level of staff’s from all departments for housekeeping service
To organize efficient work schedules.
To work well with a team and individually without constant supervision.
To work under pressure and stay calm in difficult situations.
Senior Supervisor must be prepared to work irregular hours, shift, including weekends and holidays
