Job Description

  • Manage and lead a team for collecting and recovery from the customers with a sound implementation plan to achieve the goal
  • Good in negotiation and handle the delinquent/NPL customers in diplomatic way to collecting the overdue amounts from customers
  • Manage all risk assets of delinquent borrowers to secure and maximize the return to the Bank
  • Accuracy in figures and able to present the status of delinquency/NPL customers together with recovery status & action plans to the senior management of a bank
  • Ensure that all delinquent borrowers in NPL portfolio are correctly credit graded/classified and provisioned as per rules & regulations
  • Monitor the revenue reversal for delinquent and NPL accounts in accordance with the Bank's policy
  • Collaborate with all Branches, Relationship Managers to advise on all aspects of problem loan recognition and report to the management
  • Manage all aspect of CBM compliance and thoroughly understanding of a bank’s Credit Policy, Risk Appetite and Credit Procedures
  • Other ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by management upon requirement
  • Able to travel for work within a country, if necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Good communication skill in cooperating with other departments and pro-active person
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or a similar field (preferred).
  • Experience in collection and recovery from overdue customers
  • Familiar with the relevant financial regulations, Directives from CBM and other legal framework related to lending business
  • Sound and proven knowledge in financial literacy to analyze the cash flow, nature of business and Industry, and relevant risks of applicants
  • Good analytical, presentation and interpersonal skill
  • Good command of spoken and written in both Myanmar and English
  • Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
