Job Scope

• The Senior Finance manager is responsible for direction and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
• Managing a team of 100 and above including factory, nationwide distribution finance as well Capital Food Solutions and Confectionery finance department to support the business and operational requirements.
• Coaching/motivating the team to improve their capabilities, assessing their ability for the area to improve, by making sure they have given opportunities to improve their ability as well as having clear responsibility to fulfill their respective role.
• Create and nurture a winning team by providing leadership, direction, manage the performance, development, succession processes according to Company’s HR practices.
• Monitor and evaluate each expenditure items for cost reduction and control.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
• Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Providing leadership in allocating financial resources and in providing business advice and counsel to management in meeting business objectives in line with profitability objectives of the company.
• Providing relevant financial as well as non-financial information and business insights at the right time and quality and to the right people.
• Supporting the analysis of financial results to the executive leadership team and Partner group.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely delivery of monthly financial reporting, i.e. P&L, Balance Sheet Report and Cash Flow.
• Managing the roll-out and review of the annual budget and ongoing review and tracking of forecasts/budgets and costs.
• Analytical review of monthly financial results (P&L, BS and CF) highlighting trends and causes of unexpected variances for discussion with Division Heads.
• Analytical Review of current and past trends of Key Financial and Operational KPIs (e.g. Revenue, Margin, Stock Days, LFL Sales Growth, Creditor Days, CAPEX) for discussion with FC and Division Heads.
• Delivering financial analysis to challenge the business and provide monthly review of allocated spend against budget
• To improve Efficiency of Finance_ the finance department always has to be efficient, not just for the sake of streamlining business operations, but also meeting regulatory standards and building external goodwill.
• To ensure that the behavior of the employees is aligned with the goals of the company.
• Up skilling the existing team.
• Act as a strong business partner by building effective working relationships at all levels,
• Ensure monthly accounts are produced timely and accurately.
• Manage the production of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Provide ongoing insight and challenge to the senior leadership team to enhance profitability.
• Ensure that risk management system is in place and take preventive action with regular audit of the operations

Education

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economic
• ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA or any relevant qualifications

Work Experience

• Experience in leading a team as senior finance manager
• Strong communication skills, someone who is perceived as a strong leader in the company/team
• Overseas experience, both education or work are strongly preferred
