Job Description

Job Purpose

                Leading and supporting Wholesale Banking VC customers in all their Domestic Payments that currently include Smart Payroll Operations, Domestic Supplier Payments File upload payments, Domestic Telegraphic Transfers (Inward and Outward) Host to Host File Upload payments from Financial Institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring error free processing of all Domestic payment’s transactions.
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Compiling summaries of related earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this.
  • Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer’s social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
  • Resolving any discrepancies in processing documents submitted by the customers.
  • Ensuring underlying SOPs are created and maintained as per Bank Standard and updated as and when changes are agreed with the relevant VCs.
  • Submitting appropriate Reports to Executive Management

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a similar field.
  • Prior Experience in Payments Processing.
  • Good Team management skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel in particular
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Familiarity with Regulations advised by the CBM, Government Departments and SWIFT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prepare and present financial reports.

Experience

  • Banking Experience at least 5-8 years
