Overall Responsibility:

1. Lead the implementation and operation & maintenance of ISP Core Network.
2. Provide Tier-3 Technical Support.

      Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Support all aspects of the network management process assuring requests, implementation, and problems are delivered as required with no impact to the global communications environment.
2. To provide service and infrastructure availability, ensuring systems and products are properly configured and maintained by performing all Service & Infrastructure Operations activities according to standards and procedures or customer requirements.
3. Responsible to products proactive fault monitoring and expert level incident management for the entire set of products supported in the Command Centre.
4. Perform troubleshooting and fault resolution of reported/detected faults by investigating the issue, identifying the cause and implementing the fix based on troubleshooting guides.
5. Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance of equipment and monitoring of systems and services in accordance with agreed schedules and customer expectations.
6. Provide Service & Infrastructure Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and service Level Agreements (SLAs).

1. Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
2. Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
3. Solid background in network administration and architecture
4. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
5. Familiarity with access control models and network security
6. Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g. Python, Perl)
7. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. Solar Winds network tools)
8. Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
9. Sharp troubleshooting skills
10. Ability to work independently
11. Organizational and mentoring skills
12. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
