ROLE PURPOSE

 

Yoma Bank is currently recruiting for a CSR Senior Officer to join our energetic and ambitious marketing and communications team. This role will be reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing. We are a diverse group of experienced communication and marketing professionals working towards a shared goal: to service our business and people and to clearly communicate Yoma Bank brand across all our marketing activities.

The Senior Officer needs to understand the industry standards for measurements and consistently meet CSR key performance indicators.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsible for

 

  • coordinating and implementing CSR activities according to the company CSR and Sustainability agenda.
  • working towards the Bank’s on-going commitment to become a more sustainable and socially responsible organization.
  • clearly communicating Yoma Bank’s corporate and social responsibilities through internal and external channels.
  • developing an effective CSR agenda and policy encompassing environmental, workplace and community issues together with the CSR Manager.
  • communicating with leadership to move the organization to action on strategic plans

Job Requirements

Education & Experiences

Essential

  • 3 – 5 years relevant Marketing/Brand/ Communication role and experience

Knowledge and Skills

Technical/Functional competencies:

  • Produce clear and accurate minutes – noting meeting dynamics as well as decisions and rationale
  • Support identification of key market dynamics that will impact business over the agreed upon planning horizon
  • Produce communications brief development and writing aligning to CVP
  • Develop basic Marketing and Communication plan based on overall bank and product strategy
  • Check the team’s work, develop SOP, liaise with different Division and Department to ensure alignment on communication/ marketing materials
  • Discretion and Diplomacy

Languages

Essential

  • Fluency in English and Myanmar
  • Excellent writing skills in English and Myanmar
