JOB SUMMARY

Own the domain and assist on the procurement related activities for General Procurement assigned ensuring that the required assets are procured in timely and efficient manner following the procurement standard operation procedure. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement 

• Lead all the procurement activities in terms of material and service related RFQs/ CFTs 
• Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures 

• Assist on PR / PO activates on procurement system 
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders understanding their needs and translate it to effective procurement 

Vendor 

• Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors 
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms 

• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers 

Projects 

• Manage, track, and coordinate the projects of the department 
• Provide line manager and stakeholders with regular project status updates, and escalate issues where appropriate to ensure that all deliverables and deadlines are met 

• Minimum 5 years working experiences in procurement sector 
• Bachelor's Degree in a business field such as economics, logistics, supply chain management, operations management, finance, technology, or statistical analysis) 
• Experience of working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding value driven results 
• Strong commercial, relationship building, negotiation and procurement knowledge 
• Supply chain work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is considered an asset 
• Proficient in preparing and interpreting flowcharts (Microsoft Visio) 
• Lead the team and ensure delivery of work in accordance with Business Unit Strategy 
• Build and manage effective relationships with functional teams and other business units 
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills in both Myanmar and English
