JOB SUMMARY

To manage, circulate and respond the regulatory and official incoming letters/ correspondences throughout the bank in a timely manner.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Circulate regulatory and official incoming letters/correspondences throughout the bank in dual language (Myanmar and English) 
  • Ensure all incoming letters/correspondences are tracked and responded to in a timely manner 
  • Contribute in preparing monthly report for submission to BOD members/ Senior Management 
  • Monitor and update the enacted new laws, regulations and instructions which is applicable to the bank 
  • Keep and manage the regulatory Directives, regulations, correspondences in the database 
  • Ensure departmental SOP is updated in a timely manner 
  • Participate in trainings related to job

Job Requirements

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in laws, accounting or economics from an accredited University, or relevant professional certification and trainings in laws and accounting 
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience of compliance in a financial institution or relevant work experience 
  • Knowledge on financial institutions policies and procedures 
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable laws including Myanmar Financial Institutions Law, Regulations, Directives, Instructions and Guidelines issued by the Central Bank of Myanmar 
  • Ability to read and interpret government financial rules and legal documents 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Myanmar 
  • Strong, Analytical, Research, Planning, Organizational and Communication skills 
  • High ethical standards and integrity in both their personal and professional dealings
