ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, experience within the Banking domain and vendor management experience will be ideal for this opportunity. This role will focus on the banking and operation technology aspects of the project and work in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager with a focus on the Product, Business, IT and Project Management aspects.

This role will allow you to use your demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams with disparate skill sets, exercise strong problem-solving ability and utilize your skills with working in a team orientated, collaborative environment.

Job Description

• As a senior project manager you are responsible for delivering the project, leading the team members, managing stakeholders and expectation to achieve project objectives
• Work closely with the Product, Business, IT and Project Management lead to align the OLT perspective with the overall project strategy
• A project manager might be working on multiple projects and/or initiatives based on size, complexity of projects and the workload 
• Depending on project to project and nature of the projects, shall be responsible partly or for the whole project life cycle, Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling,
• Closing, either directly or indirectly or thru delegation or support from the stakeholders
• Aligning with organizational strategy and goals, setting and meeting project targets, liaising with other stakeholders and PMs to achieve project results and outcomes
• Develop a strong understanding of all technical aspects of the project, and collaboratively work to meet current and future aims

• A Bachelor degree or above
• Certificate in PSM (or) PMP (or) PAL (or) Agile PM (or) ACP (or) Agile/SCRUM Certificate
• 5-7 years of experience in project delivery using waterfall / agile methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in using project management tools including: (Microsoft Project or others, Jira and Confluence)
• Proficiency in 10 knowledge areas defined in the PMBOK
• The candidate will require excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills along with the ability to hit the ground running
• Ideally the candidate will have previous experience working in health care and leading small or large and application projects
• Risk management, communication and relationship skill
• Building and maintaining motivated teams, ensuring there is an iterative plan to work towards and the vision is widely understood
• Managing internal/external communications and change management to ensure consistency of messaging to stakeholders
• Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team/organization, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to identify, lead and delivery high quality business outcomes
• Used to work close to stakeholders in managing project timelines and deliverables
