Job Description

Headquartered in Singapore, they offer bespoke solutions and services to address their clients’ cybersecurity needs. Their core competencies are in the provision of cybersecurity advisory and assurance services, architecture design and systems integration services, and managed security services for advanced threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response. Underpinning these competencies is in-house research and development in cybersecurity. 

Work Type:  First 6 months in Myanmar 

                     Next 6 months relocation to Malaysia (after meeting the probationary requirement)

                     -Work primarily in Customer’s office

                     -Alternately work in company office in Kuala Lumpur

  1.  Manage ticketing system and ensure all the tickets are up to date with latest information/updates.
  2. Handles customers’ calls/escalation, perform 2nd level troubleshooting and resolution.
  3. Conduct analysis (impact & risks) on change requests and perform configuration changes.
  4. Take ownership of the issue and work with Engineering/Principle towards resolution.
  5. Monitor, track and communicate status of support requests.
  6. Maintain products firmware, signature and patches up to date.
  7. Vendor/Principle coordination and management.
  8. Create & Maintain technical documentations.
  9. Report possible threats or software issues.
  10. Install, program and commission devices, security equipment, and software.
  11. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Job Requirements

  1. Must be interested in relocation to Malaysia after working first 6 months in Myanmar.

  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in project deployment & support.

  3. Hands on Experience with Symantec solutions (DLP, Mail Gateway, Proxy) will be an advantage.

  4. Hands on Experience with IT security solutions like Advanced Persistent Threats, Intrusion Prevention System, Web Proxy, Email Gateway, Privileged Identity Management, Endpoint detection and response, etc.

  5. Experience working autonomously and prioritizing work with minimal input.

  6. Strong knowledge of networking and IP concepts.

  7. Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience.

  8. Time management and multitasking experience.

  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  10. Detail oriented and organized.

  11. Ability to work independently with little while maintaining a high level of efficiency.

  12. Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.

Language:

  • Must be fluent in English.
