The role is responsible to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions

• Analyze and clarification of requirement
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools or manually
• Execute regression, integration, performance, unit and system test plans
• Document test results into bug tracking system and following through to resolution
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Discuss fixes with developers
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Interact with business, technical and program and project management teams
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Willingness and ability to learn relevant skills and tools on the job

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Sharp analytical abilities, problem solving techniques, proven design skills and track record of delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings is required.
