Job Summary - To coordinate with design and provide effective program
Job Duties & Responsibility
- Work with Engineering teams to provide crucial input on design for manufacturing
- Must be using 2D/3D CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs,
- Setup and CNC Turret Punch and CNC laser Cut
- Inspect all machined components post machining
- Generate CNC Machines Code prior to release to production
- Trouble shoots problem parts, tooling and part familiars
- Creates sheet sizes and CNC programs for prototypes to be punched on the turrets or laser and assures that stock sheet yields are maximized Troubleshoots problems related to CNC programs and set-ups
- Responsible for programming the following: CNC Leaser, CNC Turret
- Responsibilities will include verifying flat patterns, programming of CNC fabrication equipment, and generating route/process sheets for production floor
- Setup and operation of laser and turret is also required
- Ensure the CNC machine is maintained in good working condition
- Completing daily worksheets and forms, calculating and measuring for hole size and placement, and inspecting work
- Procedure machines parts by parts programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines
- This position involves setting up a CNC machine to Tooling, cutouts in panels according to work orders, using cutting pattern (Nesting) for reduce waste and schedules
- Design – Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical products, blueprints, drawings and models
- Other duties as assigned or as required
