Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

  • Manage seed processing to ensure minimal waste and operational excellence.
  • Manage the packing operation to ensure maximum throughput while adhering to quality guidelines
  • Manage all consumable items and ensure adequate stocks of packing material are on hand at all times.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for both raw seed and finished goods, as well as consumable items in the processing centre
  • In collaboration with the QA team, monitor stored seed, both raw seed and finished product, to ensure quality levels are maintained.
  • Be responsible to maintain all equipment in optimum working condition following pre-defined servicing guidelines.
  • Work closely with Quality assurance team in order to monitor seed quality and ensure quality seeds are packed.
  • Engage and supervise seasonal part-time labour.
  • Ensure factory security.

Job Requirements

  • Myanmar national
  • At least a BS degree in a related field
  • Experience in managing people in a factory production facility preferred
  • Initially the position will be based in Sin Phyu Kyun with a likely move to Mandalay at a later stage.
  • Must have attention to detail and have an ability to communicate and report weekly to finance and administration teams in Yangon.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and email
  • Basic English skills (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Good people management and team work skills
