Position Purpose / Context


Supporting and maintaining Microsoft Server environment and client operating systems plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software issues



Key Duties / Responsibilities
Setting up and configuring new laptops, desktops and printers
Install authorised software to laptops and desktops
Fault-finding to laptops, desktops and printers issues
Network cabling and troubleshooting
Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager
Diagnose and resolve technical issues
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops
Patching of network and phones
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager
Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable
Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
Problem solving within defined technical processes

Related Position Requirements/Qualifications
B.C.Tech, B.C.Sc, B.E (IT) or IT related degree
A+, Network+ preferred
2-3 years experience in related field
