Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Role

Servicing generator control panel/switchgear.

Basic design of control system.

To handle factory test in workshop and commissioning at customer site.

Provide technical assistance to sales dept.

Coordinate with customer for technical issues to meet customer technical requirements.

Monitor projects through completion, providing correction, modification or assistance to other company department as needed.

Secondary role

Ad hoc tasks by local sales representative like site survey, customer visitation etc.  

Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.

At least 2 years design experience in either power generation controls or electrical switchgear or ACMV control or automation control.

Demonstrate above average electrical engineering skills, preferably within the power generation industry or closely related field. Generator control knowledge is a must.

Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.

Speaking and writing of basic English.

AutoCAD 2D is a must.

Must be initiative, proactive, keen learner and customer centric.

Must support local sales dept needs.

Experienced in PLC and HMI (touchscreen and/or IPC) programming is a plus.

Knowledge in network communication and SCADA is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, prints or similar job write-up.

Willing to travel local and overseas as frequent global site visits is expected.
