Provide reliable services to Operations Department, ensuring following equipment is in a state of readiness at all times:
- Rail Mounted Quay Cranes
- Compact Sub stations
- RCMS
- RST, ECH and supporting equipments
- E-RTGs
- LT Bus Bars
- CY, Gate Area and supporting assets
To minimise downtime of installations to achieve reliability as per KPI.
To implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedule of all systems and equipments in cost effective manner
To maintain inventory through the Stores Dept to keep equipments and systems in running condition with proper safety of men and machine.
To provide support in other areas of port when asked for by the Reporting Officer.
This position must ensure that cost awareness to operate and maintain the fore mentioned system is filtered to all relevant personnel within the department. Coordinate with other sections of the Department and with other Departments to ensure that internal customers requirement are efficiently and effectively met in timely manner
Set and maintain performance criteria for reporting personnel. Ensure training and development plans are developed, reviewed, and carried out with a focus on specific relevance to the infrastructure and emerging technologies in the same field. Perform periodic scheduled performance review with reporting personnel
Ensure safe maintenance practices and good housekeeping standards are maintained to meet the high level production
To manage shift duties in all Sections and to ensure round the clock staff availability to maintain terminal operation trouble free
Ensure all incidents, accidents and occurrences and applicable to relevant section are properly investigated, recorded, reported and correctly attended. Develop and implement preventive measures in coordination with the concerned department.
To execute objectives with available resources to achieve Department goals and ultimately organization goals.
