Summary of Responsibility Scope:

Site Engineer is responsible for organizing the works on site, allocate manpower and other resources, manage and control subcontractors in order to achieve the project in schedule, and meet quality objectives of the project. Site Engineer is responsible not only in delivering projects but also providing customer satisfaction and maintain customer satisfaction during and post-delivery of the project, and legal and Management System compliance are ensured at all time.

Primary Job Descriptions

(1) Assist Supervisor of assigned projects to ensure the whole project complies with contractual requirements, including time and budget parameters of the project

(2) Provides technical, administrative and operational management to assigned task(s), project(s), including sub-contractor management, worksite safety and security, worksite regulations and reporting etc

(3) Supervise works to ensure quality requirements and the work is executed as per approved design and specification

(4) Check detailed drawings, material usage computations, and quantities for accuracy and conformity to standards, specifications laid down for each assigned project

(5) Maintain sets of approved drawings, sketch for as-build drawings, conduct performance test and maintain reports to submit to HQ project personnel, sketch for variation orders to get approval from client and keep track of variation orders if necessary by the project management team at HQ

(6) Ensures work under execution are in line with time and budget requirements

(7) Manage sub-contractors to have proper work sequence with quality and timely completion of works according to project schedule, and inspect after the constructed area/location for the acceptance according to the DDD and will issue punch list if there necessary area for rectification.

(8) Verify variation of works submitted by sub-contractors and report to Assistant Project Manager/Site Manager/Project Manager for approval

(9) Obtain proper acceptance of deliverables by client representative at site on work completion, quality and progress schedule

(10) Plan cost-effective solutions and provide to Project Manager/Site Manager if unexpected change occurs

(11) Coordinate with local governments and authorities where project exists

(12) Coordinate with HQ Project Management team on information at site, documents at site, progress, budget estimations, work completion measurements and any reporting etc
