ROLE PURPOSE

This role requires to manage the overall financial wellbeing and relationships with premium SME customers to leverage the quality customer experience and ensuring all their banking needs are efficiently met – especially deposit and transactional banking.

  • Achieving set objectives by proactively managing relationship with existing and developing/building relationships with new SME Clients
  • Improving the profitability of SME portfolio.
  • Ensure the implementation of marketing strategy within the SME section
  • Add value to the client and stay ahead of the competition by structuring and implementing the complex needs of SME clients
  • Maintain relationships with SMEs to cross-sell and up-sell suitable products
  • Manage account portfolio of the top SME customers with substantial lending and deposit base
  • Conduct all sales & service activities within the Risk & Compliance parameters
  • Liaise and coordinate with other business units to provide high quality service levels and ensure adequate turnaround time for loan applications and service requests
  • Collect all required documents to make a credit decision.
  • Implementing field visits to SME clients
  • Follow up client’s complaints, and service recovery process.
  • Review and recommend credit requests to ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures
  • Support branch network with relationship management and sales process of their key SME customers

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Economics or Business preferred
  • Ability to negotiate deals, with the ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization and outside environment
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills
  • Ability to identifying key issues in complex customer requests and make effective product/service proposal
  • Thorough understanding of the full range of banking products and services
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with SME companies
  • Good understanding to analyze and review financial statements cash flow statements etc
  • Excellent communication, networking and selling skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and listening skills
