  • Develop & Execute sub-distribution strategy for BAT Myanmar in line with company vision and objectives
  • Appointment of sub-distributors across lower Myanmar to complement the direct sales service based on the geographical potential
  • Ensure quarterly business evaluations of all sub distributors and appropriate corrective action against low performers
  • Achieve distributor level sales, market share and availability targets.
  • Deliver effective & efficient trade coverage via distributor force to achieve cycle objectives.
  • Develop and implement area operational plan, trade coverage plan for the distributor area.
  • Effective deployment of distributor sales force to deliver quantitative and qualitative distribution objectives.
  • Execution, monitoring and delivery of national brand & portfolio plans at area level
  • Planning and execution of area business plans aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in management of own and competition information from the
  • market to facilitate timely communication (Market, Finance, regulatory, macroeconomics)
  • Keep track / enforcement of the inventory, merchandising and consumer engagement resources,
  • BAT policy / guidelines at area level
  • Support national level decision making by providing timely input on offtake, forecasts, execution effectiveness, corrective recommendations.
  • Manage legal, insurance and cash collection issues ensuring that contracts and procedures are written and negotiated in line with company procedures and legal requirements, minimizing commercial risks.
  • Manage budget effectively for trade activities, office and staff expenses for the area.
  • Overall management of secondary supply chain matters that includes inventory management, cash collection process, shipment planning and ensure right controls are in place as per BAT guidelines.
  • Manage the productivity & cost optimisation of the area (trade spend effectiveness in the area)
  • Generate/ gather ideas from customers and consumers in order to enhance and customise trade activities
  • Ensure compliance to BAT operational guidelines related to EH&S, Cash, Stock management, fleet management, retail execution.
  • Timely settlement of all dues to the company from sub-distributors.
  • Adherence of all relevant BAT policies and procedures by sub-distributors.
  • Business review meetings with all sub-distributors ensuring KPIs are set for the year, improvement areas are identified.Proactively train and manage personal growth / development of distribution & trade marketing staff within the area aligned with BAT’s International Marketing Principles (IMP) and all Corporate Guidelines
  • Support effective team-working in the area across all sub functions.
  • Build a strong team for effective cycle execution.
  • Develop training and coaching environment for his / her team to attain higher role in future.
