The role of the position holder will be lead team member, provide bank officer, support for the Bank’s financing activities with a focus on the Documentary Credit area and demonstrated leadership capabilities, including ability to organize to obtain an organization goals. The role holder is also responsible for performing day to day import operations to achieve customer satisfaction while minimizing the occurrence of operational risks.

• Manage the centralized trade finance operations activities such as Import/Export transactions and Guarantees.
• Check Import/Export application and documents under letter of credit and under collections presented by applicants
• Execute transactions with pre-set standardized turnaround times for all trade finance activities and service level agreements with business and all other concerned units
• Review department delivery processes with a view to ensure smooth workflow within the department, reduce turnaround times and achieve efficiency and cost benefits
• Ensure that all transaction processing is in compliance with regulatory and Bank’s policies and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/concern areas
• Manage maintenance of transactions record, documents and create archival system for easy retrieval
• Manage Audit control reconciliation control ops risk reporting and other control mechanisms within the team
• Check the CBM reports relating to trade transactions with maker prepare by daily, monthly, yearly and occasionally
• Ensure that Documentary letter of credit, Guarantee instruments (issue, Advise, Amend, Release) are promptly workable and prepare to issue, advise , amend , release and authorization for settlement
• Ensure that all related incoming and outgoing funds and SWIFT messages in relation to payments are positioned and timely liaison is maintained with the Treasury Unit and Finance function
• Perform the duties of Assistant Manager during his/her absence
• Perform authorizer/checker functions in Trade Finance Transaction Processing including system input and authorization, data and information verification, receiving and dispatching of documents, screening application for compliance with terms and conditions as per approved credit approval, proper approval for deviation and ad hoc excess , preparation documents.

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in business management or equivalent.
• Minimum 4years of experience working in financial institutions and in the area of Trade sales.
• Proven sales track record in Trade Sales.
• Able to command in both English and Myanmar.
• Excellent selling skills and ability to close transactions.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
