Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage SAS and OAS tax submissions process
Integrate processes, procedures and technologies to enhance tax compliance quality and efficiency
Assist with tax analysis as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual tax accounting process
Participate in tax planning and manage tax compliance related to legal entity rationalization projects
Responsible for tax notices & inquiries and execute tax audit defense
Coordinate and collaborate with offices
Ad hoc tax projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualification:

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA/Chartered Accountant, CPA and Mr. or Ms. in Taxation preferred
At least 5 years with a combination of major public accounting firm and MNC in high tech industry, with a minimum of 3 years international tax experience
Strong technical background and practical experience handling direct and indirect tax issues for Myanmar
Strong accounting and analytical skills with ability to research and apply tax law
Be able to communicate tax issues clearly and interact effectively
Proven track record of project management and organizational skills
Ability to operate in a detail oriented and “hands-on” environment
Team oriented, self-motivated, and take ownership of projects
