Thalun International School is looking for an Assistant Teacher for its Preschool Campus in Bahan TownshipDuties and responsibilities of the Assistant Teacher include, but are not limited to:i. Assisting the homeroom teacher.ii. Conducting classes as needed, for example, when the homeroom teacher is absent.iii. Teaching Myanmar Studies classes, including language.iv. Supplementing employer-provided materials as necessary and appropriate.v. Communicating with other Teachers and Teaching Assistants and/or administration as necessary for the maximum possible benefit of students.vi. Attendance at meetings and special events as reasonably required by the school.vii. Participation in all in-service programs provided to improve your English language communication skills.viii. Sponsoring or servicing as a Team Member in an After School Activity for students.ix. Speaking English on campus at all times except when teaching the Myanmar Studies class or when asked to translate by a foreign member of the faculty or administration.x. Taking the after-school duties as assigned by the School.xi. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the School Director/Management.
