Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring proper check and balance approach for trade finance processes and all documentary collections handling import documents and export documents

  • Handle Import documents (e.g Letters of Credit, Bills, Guarantees, Trust receipts and export documents ( e.g Letters of Credit, Discounting, Bills collections) and as well  documentary collections.
  • Ensure proper check and balance approach for trade finance processes.
  • Perform AML/CFT check, follow, monitor and control all operational risks.
  • Preparation/ Verification of SWIFT messages.
  • Prepare daily transaction reports (reports for others VC, CBM, Clients).
  • Advise customers for all trade related transactions and also Liaise with other departments in relation to transactions being handled
  • Attend to customers’ enquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Support to Day to day through input  of transactions on banking system(s) in line with business origination
  • Occasionally perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree major in Banking, Finance or related field
  • At least 2 years working experience in Banking Industry, previous Trade Finance Operations experience is preferable
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards e.g relevant ICC rules and SWIFT
  • Good in writing and speaking English
  • Strong proficiency in Word , Excel , Outlook , Power Point
