Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
  • Perform instrument transformer tests, power transformer testing, automatic transfer switch troubleshooting, generator testing, watt-hour meter calibration and high voltage circuit breaker, all equipment associated with substation equipment testing.
  • Assemble and repair high voltage power transformers.
  • Operate oil processing equipment for transformer vacuum filling and oil processing.
  • Maintain oil processing equipment in mechanical working order.
  • Transport oil processing equipment, generators, trailers to customer locations
  •  Assist in coordinating substation services with technicians, electricians and project manager.
  • Travel to different customer sites/locations.
  • Oversee equipment performance and insure proper function.
  • Provide reporting on equipment gauge monitoring and daily progress/activities.

Job Requirements

  • 3- 5 years of progressively more responsible position in Transformer production, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3+ years of combined field service technical assembly
  • Maintenance and repair of power and distribution transformers and transformer accessories in the utility/energy electrical industry with supervision and instruction by senior technicians.
  • Special skill sets in one or combined Distribution, Power and Transmission electrical substation equipment in the power ranges of Low Voltage , Medium Voltage , High Voltage ( will be highly considered)
