Job Overview:

We are looking for candidates who possess translation skills in English and Japanese language. You will have to translate content in English language or Japanese language for web contents, especially technical contents. You will work with a team of content writers, designers and engineers to develop and curate compelling and engaging content for our audience.Your primary responsibilities will include content translation, proofreading and editing and developing our content strategy.

Job Description:

• Write/Edit contents according to guidelines

• Organize the team’s translation requirements

• Closely cooperate with editorial team to create contents in languages required by the business by utilizing translation tools

• Make sure the translated contents follow the content guidelines set out by the company and are up to international standards

• Update website content as necessary

• Other content translation related tasks

• Strong writing and reading skills in English 

• Strong knowledge in content marketing and SEO

• Having JLPT certification will be an advantage but not mandatory

• Familiarity in using technology for translation will be a plus

• Prior experience in content writing/editing role will be a plus

• Having digital marketing knowledge and familiarity with social media platforms will be a plus

• Knowledge about content management systems will be a plus 

• Passion to learn new technologies

• Experience with G-Suite tools  and MS office tools

• Strong communication and reporting/presentation skills in English

• Creative and detail-oriented

• Strong organizational skills
