Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Required regular HC for all VAS Services (SMS, USSD. SMSGW, Bulk SMS Broadcast Messaging, MCN).
  • Capable of doing health check for VAS HW nodes including VM (Virtual Machine) nodes.
  • Second line support with necessary expertise to resolve issues escalated from first line diagnostics.
  • Provide implementation for VAS service delivery and upgrades with support from L3 Support team. 
  • Provide technical reports to identify cause of problems, and give preventive guidance to avoid same problem happen again.
  • Escalate the trouble ticket to L3 Support team when you cannot solve it, and monitor it until solved.
  • Prepare MOP and implement configuration changes as per MOP(Method of Procedure) during MW (Maintenance Window).
  • Fulfill the Service configuration and activation according to plan for Service Provisioning.
  • Network and service performance data collection.
  • Provide feedback/comments to PM (Performance Management) team for any VAS KPI dip.
  • Various VAS report preparation & submission as per customer requirements.   
  • Prepare implement and rollback plan and call a review meeting for configuration request.
  • Network capacity utilization monitoring.
  • VAS Services traffic monitoring, management/analysis.
  • Provide recommendation of the VAS capacity expansion. 
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback to customer’s mail on time.  
  • Attend customer meetings related to any issue in the VAS services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Technology or other related specialization.
  • Have good understanding of SS7 & SMPP protocols and VAS main Service flows : SMS & USSD.
  • Responsible of the KPI and SLA of VAS.
  • Responsible of escalation of network critical alarms and problems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a corporate IT system engineer position.
  • Have experience on Linux and knowledge about MySQL, JAVA Script/VMware.
