The Digital Content Developer is responsible for filming, editing and delivering outstanding video and photo content to design and implement training video or other explainer video to the company. Must be a multi-skilled, highly competent person who is flexible and knowledgeable enough to play different roles as circumstances required. The role is hands-on, and he must have creative capacity and technical skills. To Support and maintains all aspects of animated training video content, social media content and eLearning content.

  • Create written contents/script for specific program of targeted audiences, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects.
  • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines of media for projects.
  • Organize and set up equipment for shoots, both in field and at Times offices.
  • Assist in operating camera and sound equipment on set or in the field.
  • Coordinate with post-production.
  • Assist in live and prerecorded shoots.
  • Insert subtitles and sync audio files.
  • Work both in-house and on location, as necessary
  • Use video editing software and tools to create attractive design and contents
  • Communicate with external and internal clients for content and storyboard creating
  • Discover and implement new filming techniques and equipment as necessary
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
  • Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
  • Reserve and rent equipment if needed.
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
  • Maintain video library

Technical Competencies:

  • Animation video creation tool
  • Sophisticated video editing software
  • Processing and operation camera and shooting equipment

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film/Photography
  • Experience in camera operation, DSLR & digital video cameras, sound equipment and the overall production process is essential.
  • Tech savvy, with considerable knowledge of audio/visual equipment, hardware, software, troubleshooting and techniques used in video production & editing.
  • Highly proficient in editing with Premiere Pro, FCP, and DVD studio Pro. Final Cut Pro X and 7, Adobe after effects cc, Adobe Audition cc, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe media encoder cc, Light room and motion graphics.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Experience 

  • Knowledge of safe work practices, particularly lighting and manual handling.
  • Creative with an extraordinary eye for detail
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Work well under pressure to meet deadlines, including working out of office hours and occasionally on weekends
  • Good team player
  • Flexible with good initiative able to deal with ambiguity (asking the right questions, anticipating needs, being resourceful and preparing for a number of outcomes.)
