About Management Trainee Programme in BRAC Myanmar: Management Trainee is a one-year intensive programme for the talent management initiative of BRAC in Myanmar. This is the 3rd batch here and we designed this as a challenging opportunity for the dynamic graduates who are passionate about contributing to the country’s development aspect specially to the people living in poverty and with various vulnerabilities. This position will offer valuable experience in a managerial role with potential rapid advancement in a fast-track career path, robust development opportunity in mentorship and coaching with off-the job and on-the job training. In this one year, organization will create the opportunity to work and mix with diverse groups of people with different culture and ethnicity among the countries in different work locations to learn, adapt and being confident. After the periodic evaluation and one year of successful completion MTs will be offered as Regional Manager in various Microfinance operating regions (around 8/10 branch offices) or Assistant Manager positions in various functions of Microfinance in the Country Head Office like Business Development/Finance/Risk/HR with the respective compensation package.    

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn, practice and promote the organization's policies, procedures, Culture and CORE VALUES across the organization.
  • Learn company operations, staff functions and managerial aspects which are significant in the proper functioning of an organization in the development world.
  • Learn and perform in Branch operation of Microfinance, prepare work plan, set target and monitor the achievement along with proper office Management and staff Management task.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions and job levels to build relationships, share information, and increase collaborative efforts.
  • Lead a performance driven team by setting Performance objectives in collaboration with Operations Management and other related departments.
  • Learn about the key players in the field of Microfinance & development which might help making strategic decision while role playing or taking responsibility.
  • Receive on the job and off the job training and make better input in operations and functions professionally so that successive transferability between other departments is carried out properly by the management trainee.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  • Adapt and support to achieve BRAC mission in terms of the social performance management objectives as well as the financial performance through its high valued workforce.

လိုအပ္ေသာအရည္အခ်င္း

  • Bachelor’s degree holder with good academic track record preferably from Business/Economics/ICT/Engineering. MBA holder or Master degree in foreign university is highly appreciable.
  • 1-2 year working experience in a reputed organization will add value but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel and stay in rural areas where a lot of BRAC operations take place.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and adaptive mindset
  • Able to adapt in Microfinance context.
  • Respectful to cultural diversity.
  • Proficient in using MS Office
  • Good English language proficiency
