• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly validate software functionality and performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and technical support, to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on quality-related aspects, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in software testing and quality assurance.
• Document test results and create comprehensive reports for stakeholders, highlighting areas of improvement and risk assessment.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle through feedback and process enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Tester in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in programming languages.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Agile Central/Rally).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
