A Great Opportunity for ...

Taking technical ownership of AIA Myanmar’s Business Intelligence Platform including development and support of the BI Dashboards, ETL process and Data warehouse.
Develop and maintain infrastructure systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, data governance, visualization, performance and infrastructure.
Apply ETL - data extraction, transformation and loading techniques in order to connect large data sets from a variety of sources.
Translating business data needs to technical specifications.
Technical support to data analytics tool and data sources.
Provide BAU support for existing and new data platforms.
Implement data pipelines to bring data at reach to platforms or tools.
Maintain development roadmap aligned with product and infrastructure objectives to support advanced data solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to data warehouse.
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the reporting authority in order to achieve the overall functional objectives of the division.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as Data Engineer and in designing, building data warehouses or data lakes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
Solid experience and knowledge in SQL and Python.
Prefer background or knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse and SQL.
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
Innovative, proactive, creative, well-organized and able to easily adapt to various technologies.
Great interpersonal skills, teamwork and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good time management skill and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and highly self-motivated.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
