BBC Media Action works with a range of media, including the state broadcaster, civil society and audiences to support Myanmar’s development. BBC Media Action has a single office in Yangon. It’s production, outreach and research teams travel across the country in support of our work to inform and engage national audiences and work with media partners. Our work is supported by a range of donors, including the Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT), the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). We are currently working on a range of media and development projects in Myanmar focusing on peace-building and social cohesion, media capacity building, disaster risk reduction and migration.
