Design, implement, and lead a full schedule of activities. Collaborate with other teachers and colleagues to implement lesson plans and to build a better learning environment Track children’s progress and report to parents and upper management Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks, and meals Help children reach developmental milestones Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times Adapt and select teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures, and teaching standards Train and provide guidance for Teaching Assistants
