Organize and conduct community meetings, training, and awareness sessions related to income generation and economic resilience. CIAT Myanmar is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of its earthquake response program in Mandalay. This role is crucial in ensuringfinancial accountability, donor compliance, and timely reporting for emergency response and recovery operations. The position may be based in Yangon or Mandalay, with periodic travel to field sites. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations related to the earthquake response, including budgeting, financial reporting, fund disbursement, and expenditure tracking. Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and CIATfinancial policies. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and donor use. Ensure transparent and accountable financial practices in coordination with field staff and programmanagers. Support procurement and logistics teams in budgetary compliance and proper financial documentation. Conduct internal audits and support external audits as required. Provide financial guidance to project teams and assist with capacity building of field staff on financial procedures. Monitor cash flow, manage project bank accounts, and prepare forecasts to ensure adequate funds for operations. Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, statutory payments, and regulatory compliance incoordination with legal and government bodies.
