The QC Supervisor plan, implements and enforces laboratory seed testing measures, ensures availability of high quality seeds, seed quality improvement and quality awareness internally and externally, in accordance with Company, ISO, and ISTA Standards. Ensure execution of testing and other activities in accordance with ISTA, and Company standards. Ensure all samples received in the field and in the plant are tested accordingly Analyze, Check and Monitor the seed inventory report related quality results Closely coordinate with the Plant, Seed Production and on quality-related matters, and Sales and Marketing about after-sales quality issues and concerns. Ensure on-time availability of quality results in the system. Ensure batches tested has corresponding quality status in the system Enhance quality awareness among internal and external customers. Foster a safe, secure and trusting environment in QA seed laboratory. Initiate and lead quality improvement and innovations in the seed laboratory. Supervise strict implementation of seed testing activities Certify seed quality (germination and hybridity/purity) based on company standards Initiate additional procedures, if there is improvement needed to improve seed quality. Prepare section updates/reports for other departments and Group QA whenever needed. Participate in seed production field inspection and evaluation activities of QA Assistant/Field Inspector. Cost effective work management, optimum resource utilization, economic usage of inputs. Budget planning and monitoring based on the approved budget CAPEX submission and monitroing
This role is primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics operations. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, from the point of origin to the final destination, while optimizing costs and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of logistics principles and practices in Myanmar. Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Coordinate with various internal departments including sis companies, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Plan and schedule shipments based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production requirements. Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and optimization of storage space. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory. Collaborate with procurement colleagues to identify suitable third party logistics providers Coordinate and optimize freight activities, including routing, consolidation, and mode of transportation. Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address any potential delays or issues. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation procedures. Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance of imported and exported goods. Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments in export and import processes. Lead and supervise a team of logistic personnel, warehouse staff, and other support personnel. Set performance goals, provide guidance and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations. Implement best practices and technological solutions to optimize logistics efficiency. Analyze logistics data and generate reports to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. And any ad hoc assignment given by senior management.
