The company was incorporated on 16 February 2016 under Myanmar Companies Act with the mission to provide alternative energy in the Republic of Myanmar through development and operation of solar power plant. GEP (Myanmar) is a Myanmar Investment Commission promoted company and is the permit holder to developer the 220MWDC (170MWAC) Solar Power Plant in Minbu, Myanmar, which is one of the largest solar farms in Southeast Asia.
