Communicate with the manager in charge or partner in charge for risk issues and possible solutions. Manage and plan fieldwork, including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of audit processes. Lead and manage the audit engagement team from planning through completion. Review and discuss with the team the management letters to submit to the manager and partner. Ensure that audit procedures are completed in accordance with firm standards and industry best practices. Prepare audited financial statements and prepare a management letter for engagement; submit it to the manager. Supervise and monitor associate audit staff and provide guidance on audit procedures. Coach junior staff through sharing experience and knowledge. Review work performed by audit team members to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively to understand their needs and expectations. Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards, as well as regulatory requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and tools. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the audit function. Other duties as assigned.
