Job Summary: The Operation & Maintenance Engineer is responsible for operating,monitoring & maintaining of the generator sets and other reasonable ad hoc duties ( if required). Operation Assignment: He is tasked with starting, synchronizing, and stopping of generator sets as well as record all parameters/data which is required for power plant routine reports. Reporting to management and communication with client according to set practices. Maintenance Assignment: He is tasked with corrective,preventive maintenance works,service for engine breakdown, overhauling and engine upgrading. He shall report to Senior Service Engineer,O & M Manager and any other person who shall be appointed to supervise his activities on behalf of O & M manager and senior service engineer. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Record gas & energy meters hourly and report to client. 2. Record & Log generator sets parameters & operational data, 3. Monitor generator sets status and report to shift supervisor and engineers, 4. Communicate with client, 5. Operate engines according to standard operation procedures. Assist to maintenance teams (If need), 6. Repairing & troubleshooting of tripped & breakdown engines & generators, 7. Alternate work on shifts (either Operation or Maintenance) 8. Other Ad hoc works (occassionally) 9. Routine check engines, engine room, control room, Gas skid, Switchgear room, Transformer yards & auxillary parts, 10. Daily Housekeeping, Cleaning engines, engine rooms & control rooms
To liaise with the Offtaker and manage the compliance issues for Power Purchase Agreement. To manage all aspects of Power Plant Operation and supervise the respective managers – Operation & Maintenance, Finance & Accounting, Materials Management, HSE and General Management. To manage HR issues for the company – Payroll, Hiring & Retention, Training & Development. To fulfil Regulatory and Compliance Requirements of the Company – DICA, MyCO, Tax Offices To plan and execute CSR projects in partnership with 3rd parties. To discuss with the insurance brokers and ensure the cost-effective Insurance Policy can be achieved. To coordinate and execute the Insurance Claim Submission if the claim case occurs. To act as the Internal Auditor of the Company and ensure the internal control processes are in place. To act as Project Manager for Capex Projects as and when required. To take P&L responsibility, prepare the annual Budget and execute the business in accordance with the approved budget. To report to Operating Committee and Board of Directors of the Company To liaise with the Support Team from overseas HQ for HR, Finance and Legal matters.
