Myanmar Information Highway Co., Ltd. or MIH is a joint venture company, between Benchachinda Group of Thailand and local companies, incorporated in 2014 under the law of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, with objectives to provide broadband internet service and data communication services, initially for corporation and residential condensed areas in Myanmar.

MIH offers premium telecom services (private communication and internet) to businesses via a stable and advanced optical fiber technology. By incorporating its expertise in Thailand (via its sister company; UIH) and the latest in technology, MIH aims to provide a professional service on the most stable telecom platform in Yangon.

1) Marketing & Communication (MarCom) • Manage and oversee all MIH social media platforms and digital communication channels. • Create engaging content, including copywriting, graphic design, and motion graphics, tailored to various audiences. • Plan, execute, and monitor both online and offline marketing campaigns. • Develop brand themes, key messages, and communication approaches for internal and external audiences. • Coordinate marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources across campaigns. • Maintain consistent communication with customers and stakeholders through public announcements, updates, and promotional content. 2) Branding & Merchandising • Develop, implement, and maintain MIH’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all departments and operations. • Source, evaluate, and propose products, services, and merchandise for bundling with MIH service plans. • Oversee production, quality control, and stock management of POSM items (Point-of-Sale Materials). • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for branding materials, gift items, and marketing assets. • Strengthen MIH’s brand presence through strategic merchandising and visibility initiatives. 3) Business Development • Identify and explore new market opportunities to expand MIH’s project sales portfolio. • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing project sales clients to ensure long-term retention. • Handle new sales, renewal negotiations, and customer onboarding for building projects. • Manage and negotiate commercial agreements with both existing and potential building owners, developers, and corporate partners. • Serve as the primary liaison for project-based service deployments, ensuring alignment between MIH and building stakeholders. 4) Document Control & Administration • Manage and process purchase requests, payment documents, and internal approvals for the department. • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping for contracts, procurement papers, and commercial agreements. • Coordinate with finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and compliance. • Maintain accurate tracking logs for department expenses, project sales documentation, and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities: · Conduct independent site surveys for FTTx, DIA internet links and Value-Added Services (VAS) projects, including after-hours work when required. · Prepare comprehensive survey reports for FTTx, DIA and VAS networks, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on field findings. · Provide comprehensive IT support services under maintenance agreements and deliver managed IT solutions to contracted clients. · Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to vendor support when necessary while maintaining ownership until resolution is confirmed. · Maintain accurate documentation of survey reports, daily maintenance activities and incident reports. · Assist in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including Proof of Concept (POC) and product demonstrations. · Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions. · Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate solutions and equipment. · Prepare technical and financial proposals for VAS solutions and installations. · Perform system and network integration tasks as assigned, including design, implementation, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure, servers, storage systems, and voice/video communication solutions. · Supervise and manage structured cabling contractors in VAS projects to ensure quality and compliance. · Lead and supervise VAS installation projects to ensure successful delivery in alignment with project schedules. · Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets quality and timeline expectations. · Support technical assistance to internal B2B and wholesale teams as required.
Design and planning the transport network (IP, MPLS, FTTx, etc.) Coordinate with Presale and NOC to design network solution for customer’s requirement Releasing Job order to IM and NOC by using SAP system for new installations of B2B customers, network improvement plan, network change order Responsible to order new network equipment&control existing stock by cooperating with Procurement & Inventory team. Prepare Purchase & Payment request process for Stock Refill, Contract Extension such as MIH Nodes, Colocation Services at Data Center Need to plan and arrange timeline for Software Upgrade process of existing network devices and NMS for IP Metro, GPON & Firewall. Provisioning services and Coordinate with installation team to finish order Estimate the budget of equipment and material in detail design &yearly budget plan. Cooperate with other teams and subcontractor to Implement (include problem solving). Support Sales and Provisioning teams in maintaining proper network resources for new and existing customer growth. Document and automate Engineering and Capacity Planning processes Create and Maintain capacity reports of Transport network to Manager Perform and follow the instruction as directed by the Session Chief / Department Manager
Work as level 1 and 2 supports for all internal OSS systems. Create, Configure, and make changes on internal monitoring systems and production systems such as Radius, Zabbix, CCTV, and Endpoint systems. Assist on installation, configuration and troubleshooting on production hardware and software systems. Daily monitoring on production systems. Available for on-call, remote, and on-site support for about 100 internal customers. To perform as IT support on implementation, configuration, and deployment of IT related systems. To be able to prepare documentation related to purchasing, production related to IT daily jobs. To maintain contract and warranty for software and hardware license of internal production systems. To be able to assist on OSS related projects during the POC and demo processes, such as analysing, recording, and reporting issues and raise to provider.
Prepare and do submissions of license variations, approvals, permissions, renewals, Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO), payment processes, monthly report and quarterly report to relevant Ministries and Government Departments to strict deadlines. Monitor and set timelines for License Variations and Approvals and Permissions from the Relevant Authorities Collaborate, liaise and deal with Ministries, Departments, Government Authorities and Organizations for smooth business, act as a focal link between companies and regulatory authorities, ensuring the processes are in compliance with appropriate legislation and following up with relevant local authorities for the ongoing process and pending issues. Ensure all required data are submitted to PTD and other relevant authorities in a timely and accurate manner aligned with the guidelines and regulations. File systematically for incoming letters and outgoing letters from Ministries and Government Authorities. Handle engineering and legal documents. Gathering, evaluating, organizing, managing and collecting information in a variety of formats. Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines, notifications, directives, and guidelines Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems Make translation in Myanmar and English for official letters from respective Ministries and government authorities and disseminate to respective internal departments for awareness and further necessary actions. Draft, negotiate, review and make the agreements with Relevant Authorities, other related Contracts, the payment process and stamp duty affairs and verified with law firm. Ensure all agreements are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements. Develop and standardize the Agreements, Renewals process and ensure consistency. Support to Managers and other departments as required.
Facilitate payroll operations, including the calculation of overtime and maintenance of HR records such as Personal Income Tax (PIT), Social Security Benefits (SSB), and employment contracts (Government Labor Office) Liaise with external partners such as insurance vendors and hospitals to ensure legal compliance Prepare and manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including leave administration, onboarding and offboarding processes-such as drafting offer letters, employment letters, probation review forms and handling resignation procedures Keep tracking and update Manpower database to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records Organize staff events to enhance team building and employee engagement Manage and process performance appraisals to support employee development Maintain confidentiality of human resources information, ensuring trust and confidence from both managers and employees Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries Assists in the recruitment process (reviewing CVs, interview appointment arrangements). Coordinate and manage car reservations for employees and departments Process employee taxi reimbursement claims, ensuring timely verification and settlement Handle monthly meter bill processing and payments, maintaining accurate records Perform other duties as assigned by HR manager
