Record all factory expenses, including labor costs, utility bills, petty cash usage, maintenance, and vendor payments. Make sure to connect and update data between office and factory. Ensure that all purchases for the factory (materials, tools, machinery, etc.) are properly approved, documented, and recorded. Submit and reconcile daily or weekly expense reports to Finance Manager. Perform weekly/monthly inventory counts of fabrics, trims, accessories, and raw materials at the factory. Record all material purchases and receipts into the factory accounting or ERP system. Track all fabrics cutting and usage of raw materials, and reconcile with actual output and waste. Record movement of finished products from factory to HQ/warehouse, ensuring quantity and quality control. Monitor and manage local petty cash, ensuring proper documentation for each transaction. Enter all inventory, material usage, and expense data into the factory’s accounting system or ERP software. Coordinate with Main Office accountants to ensure consistency in records and reports. Prepare detailed waste reports (fabric scraps, production rejects) and coordinate with production supervisors to minimize loss. Work with the warehouse and production team to maintain up-to-date and accurate stock ledgers.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, financial forecasts, and performance reports for management. Review and analyze all financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense summaries. Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and growth. Oversee the company’s tax process, including preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax filings in compliance with Myanmar laws. Monitor and manage budgeting, cost control, and financial planning processes. Supervise and coordinate all accounting activities of both the main company and the factory. Ensure that all financial data from authorized resellers, and the factory are consolidated and reported accurately. Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to reconcile accounts, close books monthly, and maintain proper documentation. Review payroll reports and verify salary disbursement when needed. Recommend improvements to financial systems, internal controls, and workflows. Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and tax laws. Support the setup of efficient POS systems, inventory control, and accounting software integrations. Manage company bank accounts and relationships with financial institutions. Lead quarterly business reviews and present financial and sales performance to management.
