We are looking for an Accounting Executive (Accountant) position with one of the Consulting and Services companies in Myanmar. This position will be based in Yangon, Myanmar, and report directly to the Operations Director. Responsibilities Perform regular bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Create, review, and issue invoices using accounting software Reconcile accounts to ensure proper invoicing and payment processing. Prepare monthly journal entries related to receipts, payments, and necessary adjustments Monitor and report on accounts receivable and accounts payable on a daily and timely basis Ensure all transactions are recorded and tracked appropriately Track and analyze expense reports submitted by employees, ensuring proper documentation and approval. Process and facilitate the timely reimbursement of employee expenses Process and record all receipt and payment transactions Assist in tax calculation and filing for both commercial taxes and PAYE. Review and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial tax returns. Review and prepare monthly and annual PAYE schedules and assist in preparing tax returns. Assist in performing bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy in the financial records. Support in gathering necessary documentation and assisting in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Design Engineer We are currently looking for a Design Engineer position with one of the construction materials manufacturing companies in Maynmar. The position is to be stationed in Thilawa Special Economic Zone, Yangon Region, Myanmar. Responsibilities Develop structural designs and layouts for light gauge steel buildings using CAD and BIM tools Perform structural analysis and load calculations in compliance with international building codes Generate detailed shop drawings, assembly diagrams, and fabrication instructions Collaborate with architects, clients, sale and project team to understand design requirements Coordinate with production and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Provide technical support during installation and site execution phases Offer customized design solutions based on project scope, budget, and site conditions Optimize designs for material efficiency, ease of assembly, and structural integrity Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) Ensure all designs meet relevant codes (e.g., AISI, AS/NZS, Eurocode) and safety standards Research new technologies and materials in light gauge steel construction Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices
