Overall responsibility for daily clinical assessment and prescription of treatment for all patients attending the hospital. Diagnose and manage common medical and surgical conditions within the scope of practice. Provide emergency care and acute management. Ensure timely documentation of medical history, investigation, prescription and progress notes in hospital management system and written files. Coordinate patient management plans between departments. Perform and assist in routine surgery. Monitor both out-patient and in-patient progress and inform to consultants as required. Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion disease, illness and accident prevention Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
