As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the automated systems used in the distillery’s production processes. This includes control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA), electrical components, and instrumentation critical to distillation, bottling, packaging, and storage. You will ensure that all automation systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, sensors, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems. Diagnose and repair faults in automated systems, including distillation columns, fermentation tanks, and bottling lines. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime. Recommend and implement system improvements for increased reliability and efficiency. Assist in commissioning and integrating new equipment or process lines. Ensure all automation systems comply with electrical and safety regulations (NEC, OSHA). Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and other safety protocols during maintenance activities.
Track the Production vs Dispatch, ensuring accuracy. Reconcile the inventory purchase, consumption, opening & closing stock (RM, Finished Goods & other store consumables items) Maintain inventory in that manner able to take physical count of stock at any time without delay. Maintain accurate cost record data of Raw Materials, Wages, Overheads. Coordinate with Factory manager to find the operation inefficacy & monitor the cost losses due operation inefficiency. Coordinate with all internal department to find out data from time to time for analysis related to expenses/cost. Can scrutinize all Ledger & Voucher related to expenses. Help to Prepare in Cost sheet/Product costing/Financial Statement.
