As a Retail Business Development Manager, Primary focus will be driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and establishing strong relationships within the retail sector. Responsible for researching market trends, engaging with stakeholders, developing strategic partnerships, and creating comprehensive business development plans. Key Responsibilities Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the retail industry, including retail partnerships, collaborations, and cross-promotions. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with retail clients, including key account management. Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer behaviour, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Create business development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with retail clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure smooth implementation of business initiatives. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Monitor business development activities, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to senior leadership.
