On behalf of our Client, a leading Education Centre, we are looking for an Accountant to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
•Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
•Ensure accounts are aligned in accordance with IFRS, company policies and procedures
•Maintain audit schedules, intercompany and Intracompany transactions
•Ensure all financial and statutory reporting timelines are met
•Manage day-to-day financial with the cashier
•Prepare commercial tax (if any) for submission to LTO in timely manner.
•Manage and arrange the plan in order to do fixed assets count and ground stock taking.
•Liaise with internal and external auditor on all audit matters such as audit enquiries and issues.
•Perform any other duties assigned by Chief Account from time to time.

Job Requirements
•University degree in Accounting or Business Administration (major in accounting).
•Possess minimum ACCA Level 2
•Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/finance function
•Positive attitude, proactive, multi-tasking, hands on experience and meticulous
•Good command of written and spoken English
•Sound and updated understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and local statutory requirements.
